Plot: Sometimes a broken heart is all you need to set you free… Reiko loves the endless sky and electric colours of the Californian desert. It is a refuge from an increasingly claustrophobic life of family pressures and her own secrets. Then she meets Seth, a boy who shares a love of the desert and her yearning for a different kind of life. But Reiko and Seth both want something the other can't give them. As summer ends, things begin to fall apart. But the end of love can sometimes be the beginning of you...

WARNING: This review is going to be all over the place. I just find it very difficult to review books that I loved.
There are cases in which you want to read a book for the beautiful cover, others because of the author and others because the plot is intriguing. In this case, for me, it`s the title. I don`t know why precisely, it just gave me this feeling of sadness and loneliness, and I was very excited to read it, even those books that romanticise this kind of things BUT I am so happy to tell you that I was so, so, so wrong for once. I`m not going to go into details because I don`t want to spoil anything but OMG this book is a real pearl.
